Week 2 Day 7

 Script Day- Day 7

Today is day 7. I did a draft for our script. I am hoping this will be the final one, but of course as we go on there may be some changes. I tried my best to make it as engaging as I possibly could. I wanted there to be some drama but also some solo screen time for each character so the viewer can ready get to know the character. Here is the script. First is the printed and then it is it bigger for you to see.

Scene 1: melodic music and birds chirping 

Narration: Serena and Grace have been best friends since they were 7 years old. 

Scene 2: sprinklers spraying and melodic sound continuing 

Narration: Grace was always the more disciplined one out of the two 

Scene 3: Grace is getting ready, music starts to fade out, sink starts to run 

Narration: While Serena was more rowdy.  

Scene 4: Serena sleeping, discordant music starts to fade in 

Scene 5: music continues to play and then fades out 

Scene 6: music is fully faded out. Master shot of Grace's 

Scene 7: Grace: Hey mom! Good Morning! (preparing lunch for the day)  

Mom: Hi sweetie! Have a great day at school. (Grabs coffee and leaves) 

Master shot of Serena’s again 

Scene 8: Serena snoring in bed 

Narration: Every morning Grace picks up Serena from her house. And every morning Serena is still late. 

Scene 9: Grace driving to Serena’s house with cars honking in background 

Scene 10: Grace texting Serena “Here” typing sound and sending sound  

Scene 11: Serena’s phone dings and she jolts awake  

Serena: “Shoot!” camera pans over to bathroom door, serena slams it, sound of shower running is heard

Scene 12: Serena opens the door to get in the car 

Serena: Sorry!!! 

 Grace: It's okay! (annoyed )Drives off.  

Serena: Hey, can I put on music?  

Grace: Yeah yeah. Flipping of stations 

 Scene 13: Grace and Serena enter school. Students' talking in background 

Grace: Are we gonna walk together? 

Group of kids: Serena come on! 

Serena: Sorry Grace, next time. 

Narration: It's sad that high school has made them take different paths from one another and become distant. 

Scene 14:  End of day school bell rings and grace starts to walk to her car 

 Scene 15: Grace texting Serena if she needs a ride 

Scene 16: Serena and the group of kids walking and laughing 

Scene 17: Grace drives off  

Scene 18: Master shot of Serena’s again 

Serena’s walks into her house  

Mom: Look who decided to come home 

Serena slams door, straight cut to her inside room.  

Narration: But at the end of the day they will always pick each other. 

Serena calls Grace on computer 

Scene 19: Video call of Serena and grace 

Grace: Hey! 

Serena: Hey, my mom's being so annoying 

Grace: Come on that's your mom ser 

Serena: I know but she's too much sometimes 

Grace: Yeah, I know, hey why didn't you come home with me after school 

Serena: Well, I was with the others today 

Grace: Yeah well, we always ride together 

Serena: why are you being so controlling right now 

Grace: what are you talking about? 

Serena: Never mind. Hangs up the phone  

Narration: Or will they? 

Scene 20: Screen splits and you can see both Grace and Serena upset.
