Week 3 Day 11

Filming Cont. - Day 11

 Today is day 11. Today is also the second day of filming. Me, Sloan, and Sydney all met up today to film Grace's scenes but at Sydney's house this time. I felt like since Sydney's house is more nice it will match Grace's character better. Since Grace is nice, put together, and ambitious. Sydney's house matches her vibe perfectly. A nice house for a nice girl! And since my house is less of Sydney's it will match Serena's character. Run down, kind of messy, and looks the opposite of Sydney's. This is all to help the viewer understand each of the characters more and how their living situation is like. For example, Grace wakes up, she isn't in a rush, gets some breakfast ready, and even has a conversation with her mother. While Serena is running around trying not to make Grace and her late for school. We filmed the aerial shot of Grace's neighborhood, the master shot for Grace's house, Grace waking up and getting ready for school, Grace making lunch and her mom being introduced, the text messages between Grace and Serena, Grace driving to Serena's and re-filmed the car scene between the two, also filmed Grace's part of the fight between them at the end. What I helped with is providing the props necessary, like the Steadicam, car, microphones, and phone. I helped with setting up the room and picking out some pajamas for Sloan's character. I also helped with helping Sydney's mom understand what her role was for the scene we needed her for. This only leaves the shots in the school which will of course be filmed at school. I also will try and refilm some of the scenes that weren't well done like I said in my last post.  Narration is also done. I helped Sydney with this by giving her the script to read off from. So this only leaves a bit of work to do before we can start to edit it all together. Here is some behind the scenes.
