Week 3 Day 9

 Group Meeting - Day 9

Today is day 9 of the project. My group and I today started to take action in the production of filming. Me and my group started to plan out which shots we need to film and where and when. I wrote down all of the days and separated what shots will be filmed, with what equipment and when. So, all the shots for Serena will be shot at my house and my neighborhood on the 17th. I will need to use a tripod, microphone, car phone holder, Steadicam, and a phone to record on. I will use my mom's car for the shots of Serena and Grace in the car on the 17th also. All of Grace's scenes will be shot at Sydney's house on Monday the 19th. This is because the different houses match each of our character's aesthetic. My house is smaller and my neighborhood is not as pretty and nice as Sydney's so that is why it will be used for my character while Sydney's house and neighborhood is very beautiful, it is by the water and it really just matches Sloan's character. For Grace's shots Sydney's house will be used and I will need the light, microphones, Steadicam, and phone to film on. Other actors will include my mom, Sydney's mom, my sister, some of our friends, and if necessary others. Sydney will be our narrator, she will help guide the audience and their thoughts. I am hoping by next Friday this will all be shot and filmed and we can get started on editing. The school shots will be shot at school of course throughout this week and if needed next. Sloan will be wearing a white shirt with blue writing and light washed jeans and her navy blue adidas sambas. Her hair will be in a ponytail, bun, braid, and down. I wanted her to wear the most preppy outfit she could think of. While I will be wearing a hoodie and leggings with my "white" converse. My hair will be down and messy. I need to look messy and all over the place. This will all give to our character and make the opening more believable since we are high schoolers so we know how to act out these scenes correctly. Clothing is a very integral part of this project because if the character is wearing an outfit that doesn't match the vibe of the film it can create disturbances and put off putting to the viewers. With the right wardrobe you can tell how a character is like and how they behave. You can tell how they take care of themselves and what their behavior is like to others close to them. For example, my character is wearing dark colors like black and grey, this shows how my character is more grumpy, agitated, messy, and not friendly at all. And Sloan's character is wearing bright blue colors that make her seem more approachable and friendly to others. You would much rather go ask for help to someone that looms nice and well tamed than someone who is not. Below is my outfit!
