Week 7 Day 22

 Thinking of CCR- Day 22

Today is day 22! We are almost to the finish line. Each day keeps getting easier and easier but now that I have my opening done and most of my blogs I have to focus on my CCR creations. Today I will be talking about question one, how I plan to do it and what I plan to say. "How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?"

 I will answer this question by doing a podcast. I wanted to do this question in the form of a podcast because I can add sound effects and transitions to really draw in the audience and want to listen to the answer. I plan to answer it something like this. How the product uses the usual conventions of a coming of age film is there is an issue at hand, ours being a distancing forming between the girls, that creates the premise of the plot. The audience can see see by Serena's off putting behavior towards her friend Grace while Grace is trying her best to talk to her and form a conversation. Other conventions include the wardrobe being how teenagers would usually dress, jeans, hoodies, t-shirts, converse, and leggings. I think this is also how characters in coming of age shows because they characters are usually teenagers and that's how we dress. The final convention I want to mention is the problems that the characters face. When a character gets to high school  they have to choose a path to take. Sometimes its a positive path and other times it isn't. 

Now how my product represents social  groups is by actually having teenage actors playing in it. This helped us because we are around teenagers everyday so we know how they act. It also helps that we are also teenagers. We represent them by wearing clothes we see others wear and seeing how they act. I tried to make the product as realistic as possible. This is how I plan on answering the question with a bit more information and more description so I can really try and make the audience understand.
